Fishyfishy new Summer menu starting on the 6th April, available to view now! click here for preview. Old faves like BBQ Mackerel, Turbot, Line caught bass and Lobster. All coming soon!

Fishy Fishy's new summer menu stars on Tuesday 6th April and after a long winter break Lobster is back on the menu. Local lobsters disappear from the coast of Brighton in the winter, preferring the quieter deeper waters in the mid channel, away from the crashing waves and swirling sands.

Any lobster sold from about October to the spring will have been flown in from Canada",explained head chef Loz Tallent. "As we only use local fish and seafood we had to take them off the menu, but now the word from our fishermen is that they are back".

The lobster season hits a peak in June/ July when they are the cheapest so expect extra Lobster surprises then.

He's best known as The X Factor's shoulder to cry on, a BBC Radio 2
presenter and all round cheery chappie - but Secret foodie? Hmmm, there's
more to Dermot O'Leary than meets the eye.

X Factor host Dermot has proved himself a culinary talent with the opening
of his Brighton seafood restaurant Fishy Fishy which he co-owns with pals
Paul Shovlin and James Ginzler.

Dermot O'Leary.

The TV presenter lives for fish - from a boyhood taste of fried mackerel, to
opening his own seafood place today. But he tells Jenny McIvor, he won't be
eating fish heart again.
